From Japan and overseas, 76 companies and 1,057 booths at the 37th Amusement Machine Show |
An orientation and meeting to decide booth locations at the 37th Amusement Machine Show this year were held at 13:30 on June 23 (Wed.) at Azur Takeshiba.
The show has received applications from 76 companies for 1,057 booths (as of July 27) Abolishing a regulation that did not permit non-member participation was effective in promoting a large number of applications from non-members in Japan and abroad. While the number of requested booths is slightly down over the previous year, it is still somewhat satisfactory considering the difficult economic circumstances that continue.
At the orientation for show participants, the Show Organizing Office gave a detailed explanation of precautions and activities that are prohibited based on the show outline.
Attendees were also informed that if any machines were judged to be contrary to JAMMA's regulations on ethics at a preliminary screening, the applicant could be asked to refrain from exhibiting. At the meeting to decide booth locations, there was first an explanation on how the locations would be decided. Following this, booth locations of participating companies were decided for each zone.

A joint Amusement Machine Show party will be held on the first day ofthe Amusement Machine (AM) Show, on September 9 (Thurs.) from 18:00 atHotel Okura, in Toranomon, Tokyo. The party will be jointly hosted bycompanies participating in the AM Show and will be an opportunity forthem to socialize with guests and deepen relationships. | |
