| JAMMA sent Mr. Takahashi, the executive director of the association, to the 81st IAAPA Show held in Atlanta, Georgia, from (November 16 to 18) November 16 (Tuesday) to 18 (Thursday) last year. He inspected the Show, and had meetings with the responsible person of the Show secretariat office and related persons in charge. He exchanged opinions with them over a wide area, including what should be incorporated into the JAMMA Show. On November 17, he met and talked with Mr. John R Graff, the IAAPA CEO, Mr. Bob Fay, the AAMA executive director, and Mr. Richard Ireland, the AIC regional operation department manager. They agreed that it would be difficult to hold the Asia Show held by IAAPA, AAMA and AIC under joint auspices of JAMMA immediately and a request was made to JAMMA and its membership companies to participate in the exhibition as a preliminary phase. The subject was confirmed to be continued for further talks. |
