| ■Events Held in Many Places to Stress Soundness of AM Industry - Report on The 7th 'Game's Day' Activities - |

| The 'Game's Day,' established jointly by JAMMA, AOU and NSA, fell on Nov. 23, last year, and was the 7th since the start. Events were held at, various Places throughout Japan on that date, to express thanks to game fans and demonstrate that the AM industry is a healthy and cultured business to those who never visited game centers. The principal objective is to enhance the images of business game machines and game centers for market expansion. The core event was held at the Fountain Plaza, Ikebukuro Sunshine City, Tokyo. In addition, operators' groups Of 11 administrative divisions plus the Shizuoka Prefecture Amusement operators' Association held events in their respective areas. The events included the delivery services of game machines and plays to social welfare facilities, protective institutions, welfare centers for the aged and institutions for the mentally retarded. Free invitations to amusement parks and game centers and other gifts were also offered by the members of the three groups and presented to these facilities. The 'Game's Day' activities will be continued to propagate that the amusement industry is a healthy and enjoyable business. |
