The "Gane's Day" is a joint project carried out by JAMMA, AOU and NSA (Nihon Shopping Center Amusement Park Operator's Association) on November 23 (a national holiday) and was the 8th last year since the beginning. About 8,000 amusement facilities located throughout Japan acted as main force in organizing a variety of events for betterment of images of amusement facilities and market expansion. It is a matter to be noticed that the site of the core event was moved to the Yaesuguchi Concourse of JR Tokyo Station last year and was successful in luring roughly 10,500 persons to the event in about 7 hours, or from 11 a.m. opening to 7 p.m. closing. In other locations of Japan, "Amusement Love Aid" movements, free invitation to amusement parks and other events were carried out to propagate the pleasure of games. |
