Three associations of the amusement machine industry -JAMMA (The Japan Amusement Machinery Manufacturers Associatrion), AOU(The Amusement Machine Operators' Union), and JAPEA(The Japan Amusement Park Equipment Association) -held the joint "Amusement Industry's 2003 New Year Celebration Party" on January 10, Friday, at the "Spring Green Hall" of the Akasaka Prince Hotel, Tokyo, from 5 p.m. The party managing group was AOU. President Shozo Irie of AOU and PresidentYoshihito Kakihara of JAMMA presented their respective greetings; then, Mr.Koki Kobayashi, a member of the House of Representatives, made a congratulatory speech. After the cask opening ceremony by the presidents of the three associations and proposal of a toast by President Saburo Yamada of JAPEA, vivid and friendly conversations prevailed among the 259 participants until the end of the party at around 7 p.m. following an ending ceremony presided over by Vice President Masato Hiramoto of AOU. |
